The 2022 Development Cooperation Forum (DCF) Survey Study: Navigating COVID-19 recovery and long-term risks was launched virtually on Wednesday, 6 July 2022, 7:30 - 9:00 am (New York time) on the margins of the High-level Political Forum on sustainable development.
The 2022 DCF Survey Study includes key results and messages from the 2021/2022 DCF Survey exercise, which facilitates developing countries' self-assessment of the quality, impact and effectiveness of their international development cooperation. The latest Study takes a fresh look at how developing countries have navigated the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19 with their partners and other stakeholders, making use of the “enablers” of effective development cooperation.
The launch event unpacked the survey results; shared highlights from follow-up interviews with a sample of participating countries to further explore the impact of the pandemic and related risks on development cooperation; and generated practical recommendations on how development cooperation can effectively support inclusive recovery and resilience-building. All stakeholders, including survey participants, experts and civil society representatives, engaged on key findings of the latest DCF Survey.
