A Multi-stakeholder hearing will be held in New York on 28 October 2024. This platform will offer all actors including Member States, civil society, academia, private sector, and philanthropy organizations, among others, to actively engage in discussions towards an ambitious FfD4 outcome.
The hearing will take due consideration to ensure transparency, equitable geographic representation, and gender parity in discussions. These discussions will inform the inputs towards the various tracks of the Conference.
The hearing is an official intersessional session of the Preparatory Committee and responds to the decision of the Preparatory Committee of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development, recalling the General Assembly resolution 78/271.
How to participate
Please note that UN grounds pass holders do not need to register for the hearing. These include representatives of nongovernmental organizations in consultative status with ECOSOC, Member States representatives and UN staff.
