WHAT IS THE SDG INVESTMENT FAIR?
The SDG Investment Fair is a platform for connecting investors, private and public institutions, and UN representatives to build collective action to reach the 2030 SDG Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals through concrete investment opportunities.
Launched in 2018, the SDG Investment Fair has evolved from an annual event to a year-round platform. The Fair’s principal component involves organising 1-2 annual events, which enable countries to present investment projects that advance their SDG Agenda directly to potential investors.

WHAT DOES THE SDG INVESTMENT FAIR OFFER?
A global hub for SDG development finance with an emphasis on bridging the growing SDG investment gap, the SDGI Fair offers a unique opportunity to build collective action around SDG development finance to reach the 2030 SDG Agenda.
Through the SDG Investment Fair, the Department of Economic & Social Affairs (DESA) aims to establish long lasting relationships between countries, investors and SDG stakeholders to expedite SDG investment and accelerate progress towards the 2030 SDG Agenda.
Toward this end, the SDGI Fair provides a platform to facilitate knowledge sharing in development finance and accelerate SDG investment by offering the following unique benefits to SDG stakeholders.

A platform for showcasing SDG investments to global impact investors. The Fair offers space to present SDG investment projects and to benefit from one-on-one investor exchanges, knowledge sharing, and technical assistance.
