2023 Development Cooperation Forum (DCF) to be held 14-15 March in New York
The 2023 Development Cooperation Forum (DCF) High-level Meeting (HLM) will emphasize the human dimension of development cooperation, with a focus on the experiences of people that development cooperation policies and practices are meant to serve. It will provide a critical platform to shape high-impact development cooperation that responds to multiple crises while maintaining a laser focus on rescuing and realizing the SDGs in their totality.
Launch event for Handbook on Carbon Taxation
UNDESA is organizing a virtual panel discussion and launch event on “The Handbook on Carbon Taxation for Developing Countries: a tool to advance countries’ decarbonization efforts and contribute to the commitments of the Paris Agreement”. The 7th Development Cooperation Forum Survey on quality, impact and effectiveness in international development cooperation was launched on Thursday, 30 September.

Registration is now open to attend the new, reinvigorated SDG Investment Fair.
The SDG Investment Fair aims to mobilize financing for development and scale up private sector participation in the SDGs though investments in developing countries. Since 2018, the Fair has operated as an annual event where countries present investment projects that advance their SDG agenda to potential investors.
Secretary-General appoints 25 Members to the UN Tax Committee
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres appointed a distinguished group of 25 tax experts from around the world to serve as members of the United Nations Committee of Experts on International Cooperation in Tax Matters for the 2021 to 2025 term. The list of new members can be found here.
